Season summary
In 1985–86 season, Inter didn't manage to repeat good performances of previous year. Despite Rummenigge's goals[1] the side collected just a sixth place in Serie A, only qualifying for UEFA Cup.
European campaign brought Inter to semifinals, where it was knocked out by Real Madrid.[2]
