Vysoké nad Jizerou (German: Hochstadt an der Iser) is a town in the Semily District, Liberec Region, of northern Bohemia, in the Czech Republic. It is located 16 kilometers southeast of Jablonec nad Nisou.
History
The village was founded in the first half of the 14th Century. It is first mentioned in the year 1352, and on 4 August 1354 it officially became a town under the Latin name Alta Ciuitas.[2]
