Background and concept
In 2008 begins with the realization of a dream: to Fresno touches on the main stage of the Planeta Atlantida, one of the most anticipated shows for the crowd of fans crowded. On May 15, 2008, happens the release of "Redenção", 4th studio album and first major label, Universal Music. Soon to launch, the first single released, Pólo, has won the first in radio and TV.
However, on 5 May 2008, Pedro "Cuper," one of the founders of the band decides to leave Fresno. A new drummer is soon called to fill the post. Rodrigo Ruschel "Bell", also the drummer "aBRIL", took the sticks from Fresno.

The cover is a picture with all members of the band in a room with a window in the background.[1]
Music
Full of electronic effects of samplers and keyboards, "Redenção," the new CD from Fresno, delivers the musical identity of the band's pop. Getting rid of any trace of hardcore (or emocore) that still may have the Fresno now sought to make a pop quality, with roots and identity.
Of the thirteen tracks that make up the disc, three are already all too familiar to the public underground. "Alguém Que Te Faz Sorrir" has been the single previous record, the "Ciano", and was re-recorded version of a much more pop, which was also done in "Contas Vencidas". And "Pólo", which was an appetizer for the new album was also part of "MTV Ao Vivo 5 Bandas de Rock", launched last year and played in several radio stations in Brazil.
Despite the large difference in the disk prior to this that marks the debut of the Fresno mainstream, the band has not lost its true identity, nor its romantic lyrics, and an hour, sad. Another notable change is the ubiquitous voice of bassist Rodrigo Tavares, who joined the band after the release of "Ciano", in almost all the tracks on the disc. "Redenção" marks a new phase of local bands, without sounding artificial or cliche, making quality pop music openly.
