Pennsville, Ohio

Pennsville is an unincorporated community in Morgan County, in the U.S. state of Ohio.[1]

History

Pennsville was platted in 1828.[2] The community took its name from Penn Township.[3] Pennsville was originally built up chiefly by Quakers.[2] A post office has been in operation at Pennsville since 1829.[4]
