New Zealand Red rabbit
The New Zealand Red is a rabbit breed, which despite the name, is American in origin. New Zealand rabbit breeds are available in three ARBA-recognized colors: red, white, and black; broken. blues are not yet showable. The New Zealand Red is an excellent meat rabbit with a high feed to meat ratio with fine bones. Fryer size is 8–12 weeks. Its weight is 4–5 kg (10-12 pounds). They can produce up to fifteen kits at a time. The normal amount is 7-8 kits.[1]
The Czech Red is a breed that has descended from the New Zealand Red.
