There are 392 properties and districts listed on the National Register in Cuyahoga County, including 4 National Historic Landmarks. The city of Cleveland is the location of 244 of these properties and districts, including 3 of the National Historic Landmarks; they are listed here, while the remainder are listed separately. Four properties and districts are split between Cleveland and other parts of the county, and are thus included on both lists. Another 8 properties in Cleveland were once listed but have been removed.

For about 1% of NRIS original coordinates, experience has shown that one or both coordinates are typos or otherwise extremely far off; some corrections may have been made.
