Minor Álvarez (born 14 November 1989 in Costa Rica) is a Costa Rican football goalkeeper.
Club career
Álvarez played for Saprissa and had loan spells at Belén Siglo XXI and Santos de Guápiles.[1] In January 2013, Álvarez moved abroad and signed a 5-year contract with Guatemalan side Xelajú[2] but a surplus on foreigners forced him to be loaned out to Aurora.[3] He received Guatemalan citizenship in September 2013[4] and joined Malacateco in January 2014.
International career
He was part of the Costa Rica national football team squad for the 2011 Copa América,[5] but did not play at all in the tournament.[6]
