Mike McGlinchey (December 28, 1944 March 24, 1997)[1] was an American football coach. He served as the head football coach at Salisbury University, Central Connecticut State University, and Frostburg State University, compiling a career college football record of 91496. McGlinchey died of Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis in 1997.[2]

Coaching career

McGlinchey was the ninth head football coach for the Frostburg State University Bobcats in Frostburg, Maryland and he held that position for four seasons, from 1992 until 1995. His overall coaching record at Frostburg was 30 wins, 11 losses, and 2 ties. As of completion of the 2007 season, this ranks him third at Frostburg in terms of total wins and second at Frostburg in terms of winning percentage.[3]
