Dean Peterson (born August 14, 1949) was the seventh head football coach for the Frostburg State University Bobcats in Frostburg, Maryland and he held that position for six seasons, from 1981 until 1986. His overall coaching record at Frostburg was 27 wins, 29 losses, and 3 ties. As of completion of the 2007 season, this ranks him sixth at Frostburg in terms of total wins and fourth at Frostburg in terms of winning percentage.[1]
