Mieczysławów [mjɛt͡ʂɨˈswavuf] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Krzyżanów, within Kutno County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) west of Krzyżanów, 7 km (4 mi) south-east of Kutno, and 44 km (27 mi) north of the regional capital Łódź.
The town was the site of a large armored battle during World War II, involving the 2nd SS Panzer Division Das Reich and elements of Polish armored units.
