Mendota Township is located in LaSalle County, Illinois, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 7,534 and it contained 3,111 housing units.[1] Mendota Township was formed from Meriden Township in February, 1856.
Geography
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 36.05 square miles (93.4 km2), of which 35.94 square miles (93.1 km2) (or 99.69%) is land and 0.11 square miles (0.28 km2) (or 0.31%) is water.[1]
