Marko Marinović (Serbian Cyrillic: Марко Мариновић, born March 15, 1983) is a Serbian professional basketball player who plays for CSU Craiova of the Romanian League.
Professional career
On July 12, 2013, Marinović signed with Radnički Kragujevac for the 2013–14 season.[1] On December 11, 2013, he tied the Eurocup’s all-time single-game assist record with 15 in his team’s 91-81 victory over Neptunas Klaipeda.[2]
In September 2014, Marinović signed a one-year deal with the Slovenian team Union Olimpija.[3]
In July 2015, he signed with the Romanian team Steaua București.[4]
National team
Marko Marinović was a member of the Yugoslavian U-20 team that took part in the 2000 European Championship. Three years later he won the gold medal with Serbia and Montenegro at the 2003 World University Games.[5]
Serbia national team
Marinović played at the 2006 FIBA World Championship in Japan with the Serbia national basketball team. He averaged 5.3 points, 0.3 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game.
