Klec is a village and municipality (obec) in Jindřichův Hradec District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 6.32 square kilometres (2.44 sq mi), and has a population of 189 (as at 3 July 2006).
Klec lies approximately 19 kilometres (12 mi) west of Jindřichův Hradec, 25 km (16 mi) north-east of České Budějovice, and 113 km (70 mi) south of Prague.
