Juice=Juice, pronounced "Juice Juice", is a 5-member Japanese girl group, formed in 2013. It is positioned as a unit formed of trainee members of Hello! Project.[1][2]
History
The formation of the unit was announced on February 2, 2013, at a Hello! Project concert held at the Main Hall of the Fukuoka Convention Center. It was revealed that the unit would consist of six members: five Hello! Project trainees Akari Uemura, Sayuki Takagi, Karin Miyamoto, Aina Ōtsuka, Tomoko Kanazawa and of Yuka Miyazaki.[3]

Project Haru no Dai Kansha Hinamatsuri Festival 2013.[1] On March 2 and 3, Juice=Juice performed at the forementioned concert series, where the group premiered their upcoming single "Watashi ga Iu Mae ni Dakishimenakya ne".[5]
On July 5, 2013, Aina Ōtsuka resigned from both Juice=Juice and Hello! Project Kenshūsei, bringing the member count to five.[6]
In November 2013, Juice=Juice was nominated for the 2013 TBS Japan Record Award in the category of "Best Newcomer". but had to content with a New Artist Award.[7][8]
In February 2016, Juice=Juice starred in a Japanese drama called Budokan in where the members acted as a new idol group called NEXT YOU! [9]
