John Franklin "Jack" Spellman (June 14, 1899 August 1, 1966) was an American wrestler and olympic champion. He competed at the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris, where he won a gold medal in freestyle light heavyweight.[1][2] Spellman has also played American football as a right end for the Providence Steam Roller and Boston Braves from 1925 to 1932.[3][4]
