Higby, Ohio

Higby is an unincorporated community in Ross County, in the U.S. state of Ohio.^[1]

History

The community was named after the local Higby family.^[2] A post office called Higby was established in 1878, and remained in operation until 1933.^[3] Besides the post office, Higby had a station on the Norfolk and Western Railroad.^[4]
