Hồng Ngự is a new district-level town (thị xã) in Đồng Tháp Province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. It was established in 2008 with split Hong Ngu District into Hồng Ngự Town and a new Hồng Ngự District.[1]
The town is subdivided into 3 wards: An Lộc, An Thạnh, An Lạc and 4 communes: Tân Hội, Bình Thạnh, An Bình A, An Bình B. Phường An Lộc and An Thạnh
