Héctor Rodas Ramírez (born 7 March 1988) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for Córdoba CF as a central defender.

Club career

Born in Valencia, Valencian Community, Rodas finished his formation with local Levante UD, and made his senior debuts with the reserves, spending several years in the lower leagues. On 30 May 2009 he played his first official game with the first team, starting in a 1–0 home win over Rayo Vallecano for the Segunda División championship.[1]

In the 2009–10 season, Rodas appeared in 22 matches for the Granotas, who returned to La Liga after a two-year absence. He made his debut in the top flight on 28 August 2010, starting in a 1–4 home loss against Sevilla FC.[2]

After featuring only once in the first half of the 2011–12 campaign, a 1–3 defeat at Deportivo de La Coruña for the Copa del Rey in which he was also sent off,[3] Rodas was loaned to neighbouring Elche CF in January 2012.[4] Subsequently returned to Levante, he appeared in 18 official contests in 2012–13, including eight in the team's round-of-16 run in the UEFA Europa League.[5]

On 28 January 2015, Rodas terminated his contract with the club,[6] and signed with Real Betis in the second tier two days later.[7] After appearing rarely, he moved to fellow league team Córdoba CF on 27 June.[8]
