The Copa Ciclón (English: Cyclon Cup) is an annual friendly football match held before the start of the Honduran football season. The match is hosted by C.D. Motagua at the Estadio Tiburcio Carías Andino and is named after the club's nickname. The cup was inaugurated in 2015 when Motagua defeated Costa Rican side Deportivo Saprissa.[2][3][4]
