Bukowa [buˈkɔva] (previously German Wendisch Buckow, 1938-45: Buchenstein) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Smołdzino, within Słupsk County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south-west of Smołdzino, 17 km (11 mi) north-east of Słupsk, and 100 km (62 mi) west of the regional capital Gdańsk.

Since the 12th century the area was part of the Holy Roman Empire (Duchy of Pomerania), 1648-1945 Prussia and Germany. After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration and ethnically cleansed according to the post-war Potsdam Agreement. The native German populace was expelled and replaced with Poles. For the history of the region, see History of Pomerania.[2][3]

The village has a population of 60.
