Buków [ˈbukuf] (German: Buckow) is an averagely sized village in the administrative district of Gmina Sulechów, within Zielona Góra County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) north of Sulechów and 26 km (16 mi) north-east of Zielona Góra.
Prior to 1945 it was in Germany. After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration and ethnically cleansed according to the post-war Potsdam Agreement. The native German populace was expelled and replaced with Poles.
