Alok Ranjan was the Chief Secretary Government of Uttar Pradesh till 1st july,2016.He was the highest ranking Civil service in the State Government of Uttar Pradesh.[1][2][3][4][5][6]

- He was accused of using the entire district administration and machinery for a family holiday.[9]
