Alexandru Crețu (born 24 April 1992 in Pașcani) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays for Politehnica Iași as a defensive midfielder.
Club career
Politehnica Iași
Crețu came into the spotlight during the 2012–13 season with a string of good displays as a centre back for Politehnica Iași.[1] He was monitored by Steaua București afterwards, but a transfer never materialized.
International career
Alexandru Crețu was a member of the Romania U-21 youth team.[2]
