"A Bailar" is the debut single released by Argentine singer and actress Lali Espósito, taken from her debut studio album also titled A Bailar (2014). It was released via digital download on August 19, 2013. The song was written by Espósito along with music producers (who also produced it) Pablo Akselrad, Luis Burgio and Gustavo Novello.

Background and release

The song as released for the first time in August 19, 2013 as the Espósito's debut single. The track was also released on March 21, 2014 as part of the entire album.

Live performances

Espósito gave her first live performance of "A Bailar" on her solo artist release at La Trastienda on September 2, 2013.[1] On October 11, 2013, Espósito performed the song at The U-Mix Show, being the first TV performance of the song. On March 15, 2014, the singer performed the song at the II Emozione festival in Caserta, Italy.[2] On September 11, 2014, Espósito performed the song at the ninth edition of "Bailando por un Sueño" along with "Asesina".[3] Espósito also performed the song at the tenth edition season finale of Bailando por un Sueño Argentina. "A Bailar" is also part of her setlist for Espósito's worldwide tour, A Bailar Tour.

Music video

The video was released on Espósito's YouTube channel on September 5, 2014. The video is about the singer dancing through different scenarios. The video won in the category of "Best Female Video" at the 2014 Quiero Awards.[4]

Remix

The official remix by TripleX was released on 3 December 2015 with "Amor de Verdad" as part of the deluxe edition of A Bailar.

Awards and nominations

The song was nominated in the 2013 TKM Awards in the category of "Song of the Year".[5] In 2014, the song won in the category of "Best Female Video" and was nominated for "Best Pop Video" at the 2014 Quiero Awards,[4] and also won the award for favorite song at the Kids' Choice Awards Argentina.
