The 2010–11 season was the Fenerbahçe's 53rd consecutive season in the Süper Lig and their 103rd year in existence. They also competed in the UEFA Champions League starting in the third qualifying round. On 22 May 2011, Fenerbahçe won a record 18th Turkish league title.[5]

News

On 20 May 2010 started sales for combined cards. On 10 June 2010 Miroslav Stoch joined the team 4 years from Chelsea. On 25 June 2010 Fenerbahçe' s German coach Christoph Daum was fired, instead of Daum, Aykut Kocaman came. On 21 July 2010 Fenerbahçe met with Galatasaray for "Spor Toto Dostluk Kupası" in Borussia-Park, Mönchengladbach and Fenerbahçe won this match 1–0 and on this day Issiar Dia joined the club.

Fenerbahçe's 2010–11 kits introduced on 23 July 2010 in Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium and produced by Adidas. Home kit's name is Çubuklu Forma it means Barred Kit, away kit's name is Kanarya Forma it means Canary Kit, third kit's name is Fenerbahçe Güneşi, it means Sun of Fenerbahçe and fourth kit's name is Palamut Forma it means Acorn Kit.

1Originally, Fenerbahçe qualified for the group stage and Trabzonspor qualified for the third qualifying round. Despite being eliminated in the third qualifying round and passed to the UEFA Europa League play-off round, Trabzonspor replaced Fenerbahçe which is banned from UEFA Champions League at 24 August 2011 due to match-fixing allegations one day before the group stage draw.
