Zygaena cynarae is a species of moth in the Zygaenidae family. It is found from France east to Russia.[1]
The wingspan is about 30–31 mm.[2] Adults are on wing from mid May to July.
The larvae feed on Peucedanum species, including Peucedanum cervaria.[3] Part of the larvae overwinter multiple times. Full-grown larvae can be found from April to the beginning of June.
