Zhu Fangyu (Chinese: 朱芳雨; pinyin: Zhū Fāngyǔ) is a Chinese basketball player who currently plays for Guangdong Southern Tigers in the Chinese Basketball Association. He is nicknamed the "Rain of Three Pointers" due to his impressive ability of scoring three-pointers in crucial moments. On 1 January 2013, in a game against Qingdao Eagles, Zhu became the first player in league history to score 9,000 points, which currently makes him the league's highest scorer in its history.[1]

Personal life
Zhu Fangyu was married to rhythmic gymnast Hu Mei, whom he met at the 2004 Summer Olympics, from 2008 to 2013. They had 2 children before their divorce, which was marred by allegations that he cheated.[2]
