Zahrah Mary Chassib Jaber (12 June 1926 – 9 October 2016), better known as Zara Nutley, was a New Zealand-born British television actress who was best known for playing the role of Ms Courtney, the college principal in the comedy series Mind Your Language and Aunt Eleen in the comedy series Never the Twain. In Mind Your Language, she was scripted as a sworn, unapologetic single woman and authoritarian feminist, detested and feared by the entire staff and students at the school. She also played the role of Mrs Jack-in-the-box in the episode "Black Window" of the Last of the Summer Wine series. Nutley passed away at 90, after having bravely endured ill-health for years in a nursing home.[1]
