Yuganta: The End of an Epoch is a book written by anthropologist Irawati Karve. It is shortly called as Yuganta. [1] This book is a study on the main protagonist of Mahabharata. These character studies treat the protagonists of the book as historical figure rather than mythical. It is a critical analysis of Mahabharata. The book won Sahitya Academy Award in 1968.[2][3]
