Young Lochinvar

Young Lochinvar (1923) is a British silent historical drama film directed by W.P. Kellino and starring Owen Nares, Gladys Jennings, and Dick Webb.^[2] The screenplay was based on Canto V, XII of the poem Marmion by Walter Scott.

Plot

In Scotland, a young man, Lochinvar insists on marrying Ellen, the woman he loves in spite of the fact that she is betrothed to another. THE STORY: A man named Lochinvar goes to see his lover Ellen at the Netherby Hall. Saying that he wants to dance with Ellen he gallopes away with Ellen.
