Words Don't Mean a Thing
"Words Don't Mean a Thing" is a song written by Lynsey de Paul and Scott English,[1][2] that was originally featured performed by de Paul on the Channel 4 documentary about her life and career, titled Ladybirds.[3] A Spanish version of the song, with lyrics by Francisco Martínez appeared as a track on the 1984 album En La Carretera released by Cadafal.[4] De Paul's own version was finally released in 1994 as a track on her album, Just a Little Time.[5] Her version was also featured on a compilation album Songs From The British Academy, Vol. 1 (2008).[6]
