Wonder Cement is part of the RK Group in the marble industry.[1] The company's 6.75 Mt/yr cement plant is located in RK Nagar, Tehsil-Nimbahera, District Chittorgarh, Rajasthan.
Plants
Wonder Cement’s plant is located in Nimbahera, District Chittorgarh, in Rajasthan. Initially it has a capacity to produce 3.25 Million Tons per annum and now such has been increased to 6.75 Million Tons.[2] The manufacturing unit was established in technical collaboration with ThyssenKrupp[3] and Pfeiffer Ltd. of German.[4]
Within two years of commencement of the First Plant Wonder Cement have started work on expansion to double the capacity. The expansion production is expected by December 2015.[5] Wonder Cement is planning to further expand its current capacity to 10 Million tons by setting up a third production line for which land and layouts are ready.[6]
Saath7 Cricket Mahotsav - Rural Engagement Program
Saath7 Cricket Mahotsav [7] organized by Wonder Cement is a local cricket tournament that involved a total of 249 tehsils in Rajasthan and nearly 4000 teams. The inauguration of the introductory season of Saath7 was done by former Indian Cricketer Kapil Dev [8] at Jaipur. The first season of Saath7 Cricket Mahotsav took place between December 2015 to January 2016 [9] at various locations in Rajasthan. The winner’s trophy of the tournament was designed by Amit Pabuwal [10] who is a Guinness World Record holder for making most number of World Cup trophies.[11] MSG Club from Bikaner was the winner of first season of Saath7 Cricket Mahotsav [12]
