Williamstown High School is a public high school in Williamstown, West Virginia, United States.
Description
Williamstown High School accommodates grades 7-12 and has an enrollment of about 630 students. Two elementary schools feed into WHS, Williamstown Elementary, and Waverly Elementary in Waverly, WV.
Academics
WESTEST results for the school are consistently well above state averages for 2005, for all subjects, grades, and subgroups except students with disabilities. The average number of students per teacher is 16.
Sports
WHS competes in the Single A level in West Virginia High School sports. It has held the LKC All Sports Award for more than 20 years (2003-2004 season excepted). Home of the 2008 and 2014 West Virginia Single A Football State Champions, and the 2008 Sectional Soccer Champions. Along with many other state titles.
