Wiljakali

The Wiljakali are an Australian Aboriginal tribe in the Far West (New South Wales). Norman Tindale noted their traditional lands were the "Barrier Range; west to Olary, South Australia and were at Silverton, Mutooroo, Boolcoomata; northeast to Mootwingee, north to the southern limits of Sturt Meadows."[1]

They appear to have been in the Broken Hill and Silverton area for 40,000 years when the first Europeans arrived, and traditionally visted the Barkindji people on the Menindee Lakes each year.[2]
