Western Mining Company Limited (SSE: 601168) is a private company in northwest China engaged in the mining, smelting, and trading of alloy and metal minerals, including copper, lead, zinc, iron, manganese, gold, silver, and aluminum. It is headquartered in Xining, Qinghai.[1][2] It is currently China’s second-largest producer of lead concentrate,[3] fourth-largest producer of zinc concentrate, and seventh-biggest producer of copper concentrate with extraction rights in many metal mines overseas.[4]
Its A shares were listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2007.
