West Coast cricket team

West Coast cricket team was a cricket team representing the West Coast of the North Island of New Zealand.

West Coast as a representative team appeared twice in recorded cricket. The first of these was a first-class match against Wellington in 1879 at the Basin Reserve.^[1] In the team's only appearance in first-class cricket, it won by 6 wickets.^[2] The team's second appearance came against Wellington in 1882.^[3]
