Web Liquid
Web Liquid, based in London and New York, is a full service Digital Marketing agency, providing online marketing and consulting services. Web Liquid was founded by David Shiell and Alain Portmann in November 2003. In 2004 Web Liquid opened a New York office incorporating Matt Cronin as a founding partner. Web Liquid's thinking : returns tagline represents the agency's focus on strategic insight and return on investment. In 2006 and 2007 Web Liquid was voted the UK's most efficient Online Marketing agency by New Media Age. In July 2009, Web Liquid US acquired New York-based search engine marketing agency Clicksharp Marketing, adding Paul Burani as a partner.
Web Liquid is an IPA member agency.
Consumer Generated Insight
Web Liquid focus on Consumer Generated Content and social media has led to the development of a Consumer Generated Insight (CGI) practice. Web Liquid CGI partnered with Avis UK in a year-long Consumer Generated Insight project leading to the launch of wetryharder.co.uk, the first blog in the car hire sector. The blog was awarded the SOCAP Award for Innovation in Customer Service in 2007.
In March 2009 Web Liquid was appointed by Avis Europe as their lead online marketing agency managing online campaigns across 11 countries. Web Liquid won the business from incumbents McCann Erickson.
