Awards Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross

Walter Patry (15 April 1917 – 22 January 1945) was a highly decorated Feldwebel in the Luftwaffe during World War II, and a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Walter Party was listed as missing in action on 22 January 1945 near Kolberg, and was posthumously awarded the Knight's Cross on 28 February 1945.
