Vera James

Vera James (1892-1980) was a New Zealand born actor who worked in theatre and film. She moved to Australia in 1919 and appeared in two films for Franklyn Barrett. Her father distributed A Girl of the Bush in New Zealand.[1]

She then went to Hollywood and starred in a number of films before returning to Australia in 1929.[2][3]
