Vadym Gostiev (born January 19, 1987) is a Ukrainian footballer who plays with FC Ukraine United in the Canadian Soccer League.
Playing career
Gostiev began his career in 2005 with FC Krasyliv in the Ukrainian First League.[1] The following the season he was loaned to Iskra-Skirts in the Ukrainian Amateur League. In 2009 he went abroad to Moldavia to play with FC Sfântul Gheorghe Suruceni in the Moldovan National Division, where he appeared in 16 matches.[2] Gostiev returned to his native country the following year to sign with FC Helios Kharkiv. He had stints with MFC Mykolaiv, FC Real Pharma Odessa, FC Odessa, FC Enerhiya Mykolaiv, and FC Zhemchuzhyna Odesa. In 2016, he went overseas to Canada sign with FC Ukraine United of the Canadian Soccer League.[3]He featured in 21 matches and recorded one goal, and helped Ukraine United clinch a postseason berth by finishing second in the standings.[4]
