VnExpress is a Vietnamese online newspaper, run by FPT Corporation. It has the highest ranking among other e-newspapers in Vietnam on Alexa.com, number 4, only after Yahoo!, Google, and Google Vietnam.[2]
Establishment
VnExpress was established by FPT Group and had its first run on February 26, 2001. It was licensed by the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam under license number 511/GP - BVHTT on November 25, 2001. It is based on the 5th floor, FPT Building, Duy Tân street, Cầu Giấy District, Hà Nội city.
The newspaper's editor-in-chief is Thang Đức Thắng.
VnExpress is the first online newspaper in Vietnam to be published entirely on the web, without the traditional version on paper.
