Story

A New Power

Four monsters, Bemular, Telesdon, Sadola and Gudon were mysteriously revived at the Monster Graveyard. After eliminating them, Ultraman Zero met their masters, Alien Bat Glacier, whom introduced his monster army, the Four Beast Warriors of Hell. As Zero tried to attack, Glacier quickly trapped him inside the Techtor Gear Hatred, an armor which created by grudges from deceased monsters and gave Zero a one-sided defeat when facing against EX Red King. Pigmon, a small monster which Glacier revived by mistake, watched the battle from a safe distance but once discovered, EX Red King tried to eliminate it until Zero took the blow and used StrongCorona Zero to escape before killing the monster.

Later, Zero and Pigmon found themselves trapped in a pocket dimension. While trying to find a way out, he recalled his reason for arriving at the Monster Graveyard: long after his last battle alongside Ultraman Dyna and Cosmos, their power remained in Zero. Until now, he still tried to find its purpose, with Glacier appeared out of nowhere and brings Zero his next opponent: two clones of his alternate forms. He quickly realized that his opponents were the images of his own fear (his own powers) and faces against them, allowing him to defeat the true enemy, Galberos and escaped from the pocket dimension. Glacier released two monsters, Gan Q and Bemstar as they fought Zero through the use of wormhole connection until Zero assumed his second alternate form, LunaMiracle Zero and killed them in one swoop.

Out of monsters left, Glacier revealed that the Four Beast Warriors of Hell had completed their purpose and absorbed them in his final fight against Zero, having used them simply to absord their resentments. In the middle of the fight, he exploited Pigmon by revealing that their life force were connected and thus, should Glacier died, Pigmon would be the same. As Zero forced to submit to Glacier's torture, Pigmon reassured him, which allowed Zero to fight back by splitting into his alternate forms. LunaMiracle Zero firstly separated Glacier from the restless monster spirits and saved Pigmon's life before StrongCorona Zero used Garnate Buster to defeat Glacier. In aftermath of the battle, Zero finally found the purpose of his new powers and reunited with his comrades.

Shining Zero

Five group of aliens, known as the Darkness Five now knows of Zero's capabilities thanks to Glacier. Meanwhile, at a distant planet, King Silvergon wreak havoc in a distant planet belonged to Fanegon People until Ultraman Zero interfered and tamed it via LunaMiracle Zero. The Mother of Ultra appeared and told Zero of what happened to the Ultimate Force Zero, whom turned into bronze statues. While trying to investigate, Zero unmasked the "Mother of Ultra" as Alien Hipporito Jathar but was too late as he was about to be turned into a bronze statue like his comrades. Still, he used this opportunity and finished Jathar, saving him and presumably his other victims from petrifaction. His victory was short-lived when another enemy appeared in the form of Alien Temperor Villainous and his pet monster Tyrant. Alien Mefilas Sly interfered the battle and tried to lure Zero to the Monster Graveyard with Pigmon as his hostage. Before Zero could continue the fight, Alien Groza Glocken and Alien Deathre Deathlog joined in and weakened Zero until reinforcements came in the form of Ultimate Force Zero, allowing Zero to race to the Monster Graveyard. Zero quickly defeated Sly and freed Pigmon but the true enemy appeared to be Kaiser Darkness, who was none other than Ultraman Belial.

During the fight, Kaiser Darkness was revealed to be an empty shell, which houses Belial's restless spirit and eventually possessed Zero. As Zero Darkness, Belial massacred the members of the Ultimate Force Zero one by one tragically. The real Ultraman Zero was left powerless, leaving Belial in his body to lead the Darkness Five in their conquest. Pigmon tried to stop them despite its size but before Belial could kill it, his attacked mysteriously stopped. It was revealed that Zero's life halted Belial from attacking and progress further, bringing forth his strongest form, Shining Zero. With Belial expelled, Shining Zero regained control over his body and reverse the time flow to undone the damages done by Belial and revive the Ultimate Force Zero. The event greatly exhaust him and was unable to recall earlier incidents but in the end joins his comrades in returning home as they tried to pick a new name for Pigmon.

After the ending credits, it was revealed that Shining Zero's time reversal technique not only undone the damages made by Belial, but also revived Belial by mistake. Now knowing that Zero's strength lies within protecting dear ones, Belial resorted to make himself stronger while maintaining his leadership in the Darkness Five. Meanwhile, Jathar was revealed to have actually survived his apparent death as the screen zoomed out and ended.
