Trillium stamineum, the ',[2] propeller trillium' or red trillium, is a plant in the trillium family, Melanthiaceae native to the southeastern United States.[3][4]
Description
Trillium stamineum is a herbaceous plant with whorled, marbled, simple leaves, on short, green stems. It is found in Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee.[5] The flowers are dark red (some sources report more chocolate color), borne in spring.[6][7]
