Torregrotta (Sicilian: Turri) is a small town and municipality (comune) in the Province of Messina in the Italian region Sicily, located about 170 kilometres (110 mi) east of Palermo and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) west of Messina. As of 31 August 2012, it had a population[1] of 7,473 and an area of 4.22 square kilometres (1.63 sq mi).
Torregrotta borders the following municipalities: Monforte San Giorgio, Roccavaldina, Valdina.

Torregrotta is served by the Torregrotta railway station which has regular connections to Palermo, Messina and to the main towns of the northern coast of Sicily. Services are provided by Trenitalia.
