Tolikara Regency is one of the regencies (kabupaten) in Papua province of Indonesia. It covers an area of 5,588.13 km2, and had a population of 114,427 at the 2010 Census;[1] the latest official estimate (as at January 2014) is 140,801. The administrative centre of Tolikara Regency is the town of Karubaga.

History
The VI Asian-Pacific Astronomy Olympiad took place in Tolikara in November–December 2010.[3]
The regency was the scene of a riot against Muslims during Eid prayer in 2015.
