Tiron & Ayomari
TiRon & Ayomari (also known as T&A) are an American hip hop duo from Los Angeles, CA. The group first gained recognition in 2011 with their debut project "A Sucker For Pumps" which they released independently.
Musical career
2006 – 2010: Early Beginnings
TiRon & Ayomari (TiRon Jeffries & Omari Allen) met in 2006 as solo artists. Shortly after working together for the first time they decided to start a blog called "The Exactly" and used it as a platform to release their own music. After gaining buzz through blogs like "2 Dope Boyz" and "AshleyOutrageous" TiRon would drop two solo projects "Ketchup" and "MSTRD", and Ayomari would deliver "The PB&J Solution". Early 2011, they released a song and video called “What You Waiting On” and seeing the immediate response from their collective fan bases, the two decided to come together as a duo to create a project called "A Sucker For Pumps" that would be released later that year.
2011: A Sucker For Pumps
Described as the album about boys and girls for men and women, A Sucker for Pumps was the duo's first full length album. The album served as a look into the dynamics of a romantic relationship.
2012 – 2013: HNGRY & The Wonderful Preludes
After solidifying themselves as a duo they formed the independent label/brand known as The Cafeteria Line and put together a compilation called HNGRY (Hungry). The compilation was created to house all of the different artists they were collaborating with and sounds they were creating under the same umbrella to give the listener an idea of things to come. The compilation features Breezy Lovejoy (now Anderson .Paak), Tiffany Gouche, SiR, ScHoolboy Q, AB-Soul & James Fauntleroy.
