Timocratica meridionalis is a moth in the Depressariidae family. It was described by Becker in 1982. It is found in Brazil (Paraná, São Paulo, Rio Grande do Sul), Bolivia and Paraguay.[1]
The wingspan is 23-28 mm for males and 26-30 mm for females. The forewings are light fuscous with the basal half between R and the costa whitish. The costa is ochreous to ferruginous and the apex, termen, tornus, and oblique fasciae are ferruginous brown. The fold has ochreous scales. The hindwings are golden-ochreous.[2]
