The Burning Leaves are an English alternative folk duo consisting of singer/songwriter Indie Mae and multi-instrumentalist/songwriter Craig Lee-Williams. Their music has been featured in various television programmes and they performed live at Exhibition Road Festival as part of the London 2012 Olympics.[1]
History
- They recorded a live session at Maida Vale Studios for the Rob da Bank show on BBC Radio One.
- BBC Radio One broadcast their Live performance from Green Man festival.
- The song "You Only Wanna Dance" was included in season 12 of the CBS show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.[1]
- The song "Going Down" was included in an episode of the NBC show Deception in 2013.
- "Home" was included as part of the end credits of the 5 star rated international movie Last Ride starring Hugo Weaving.[1]
- "Midday Sun" was included within the TV movie Beaconsfield, a docudrama based on the Tasmanian Mining Disaster of 2006.
- "Painted Lines" was included in the American/Canadian TV programme 'Rouge' starring Thandie Newton and Ian Hart in 2013.
- "Sleepwalking" was included in the Australian short film 'Breath' in 2015
