The Telx Internet Exchange (TIE) is a public Internet exchange point in the United States with locations in Atlanta, GA, New York, NY, and Phoenix, AZ. The TIE offers Ethernet connectivity ranging from 1 Gbit/s to multiple 10 Gbit/s links, and participants are able to utilize IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity to other peers.[1]
The TIE is operated by Telx.
Requirements
Participants of the Telx Internet Exchange (TIE) must:[2]
- Have an Autonomous System Number
- Run BGP
- Connect via single mode fiber at a minimum 1 Gbit/s
- Peer with the Telx Internet Exchange (TIE) route viewer
The Telx Internet Exchange (TIE) is a non-free exchange. Thus, participating members incur setup and recurring fees.
