Ted S. Raicer is a game designer who has worked primarily on board games.
Early life
Ted S. Raicer became a board wargamer in 1970 at the age of 12, when his father, who was born in 1914, bought him the game 1914, designed by James F. Dunnigan and published by Avalon Hill.[1]
Career
Ted Raicer has published more than 10 games based on World War I, including the Paths of Glory board wargame, as well as games on World War II and the Russian Civil War.[1]
Awards and honors
Raicer has nine Charles S. Roberts awards, a Games magazine Historical Game of the Year Award (for Paths of Glory), and is a member of the wargame designers Hall of Fame.[1]
